It all begins with our own story. I have always been fascinated by the law. As a middle school student, I began exploring my passion with Moot Court. I went off to law school, took classes in immigration, business organization, contract drafting, and wills & trusts.
My story took a turn with a personal tragedy, which struck twice: my uncle passed away in a horrible accident. Unfortunately, he didn’t have any of his affairs in order when it passed. Together with my family, we had to learn the hard way of having everything before tragedy strikes someone else, which has sparked my passion for helping others have their affairs to give themselves and their families peace of mind. This event inspired me to start my firm.
While as a law school student, I participated in the Immigration Clinic, providing advice and guidance, under the direction of a supervisor attorney-professor, to individuals and families seeking ways to gain status within the United States because of the opportunities that the United States could offer to themselves and their families. That experience has always profoundly impacted me and reflected on my own family’s story of arriving in the United States. I would be remiss not to be able to help others seek a better life.
As an attorney who has developed my practice, I am, first and foremost, a business owner. As a business owner, I am familiar with corporate formation strategies, tax filings, bylaws, operating agreements, and the like. I can help take that idea scribbled down on post-it to filing with the state and filing for grants to help your business get some starting capital. We will get down in the details and be with you every step of the way to advise you and your partners on the best course of action.
As we have built our business, we have also learned the value of what it means to be an investor. One can invest in a company and help you find your next property, whether it is a home for your family or a building for your investment portfolio. We can help you through the due diligence and buying process and draft those agreements for you.

The classic lawyer response – “it depends.” It depends on if you value the strategy and insight an attorney can provide. As the saying goes, “you get what you pay for.” If your particular project or transaction is significant, it makes sense to hire a good lawyer for the same reason it makes sense to see a good doctor if you’re very sick. Moreover, Web services like LegalZoom are not law firms and do not provide legal advice; they simply provide fill-in-the-blank forms, which often have no context and are not tailored to your particular situation. The role of a good lawyer is more than just providing a form — he is a trusted advisor who will strategize with you and help you think through key legal and business issues.
You need a lawyer to protect you and watch your back. A well-drafted agreement is like a good insurance policy in the event of a dispute or litigation. Indeed, we live in a litigious society, and it is prudent to retain a good lawyer to make sure you don’t get blindsided. A good lawyer will also provide solid advice and judgment, identify significant risks and help negotiate key terms in a transaction.
